chat at eschew.ai

To chat, you probably want a client capable of UTF-8 and SSL, like TinTin++. You could use TinyFugue or plain telnet instead, but your session won't be encrypted and you won't be able to view UTF-8 or emojis.

Using openssl

At the command line type:

openssl s_client -connect eschew.ai:2525

Using TinTin++

At the command line type tt++, then type

#ssl eschew eschew.ai 2525

To end your session use /q and to quit TinTin use:

#end

Using TinyFugue

At the command line, type tf, then type:

/world eschew.ai 2626

To quit TinyFugue, type:

/quit

Using telnet

You may need to install additional packages to get telnet support on your system. Otherwise, you can download a client. The plain-text server listens on port 2626.

Windows or macOS

Linux

*BSD

Congratulations, telnet is pre-installed! At the command prompt, type:

telnet eschew.ai 2626
